I went through a really bizarre stage recently where I kept winning competitions (and I've never won anything, not even those Christmas school raffles, or bingo). And one prize was an overnight stay at The Hoxton, Holborn which excited me because STAY-CAY ALERT.
So this is the first time since leaving university that I haven't been involved in London Fashion Week in any shape or form - I'm not working it, and I'm not watching it. It's seriously gutting (as in, it makes my heart hurt), but I know I'm not alone.
It's not often my Mum and I get the chance to have some one-on-one girly time together - so when we do, we make sure we do it right. Our most recent girly day consisted of visiting the Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon exhibition, followed by afternoon tea.
Following on from the success of the initial blogger's market back in January, the gals put it on all over again, this time in the chic setting of The Hoxton, Holborn. So I grabbed a gal pal and headed to central early-ish on a Saturday morning.
