A twenty something Londoner on the hunt for the best places to eat, drink and pass my time.

Bottles, Spitalfields Market
In London, it's unlikely your interest will be peaked by the words 'wine bar'. Here, alcohol is a key part of the restaurant landscape. There are places for the snobs, and there are places for those who are just looking for the nearest (and longest) happy hour.

Fiz Bar, Lights of Soho
My first thought when I heard that Fiz Bar, London's first sparkling wine pop-up, had acquired a ten week residency at Brewer Street's Lights of Soho was "...really?" As in "really? how on Earth did they manage that?"

Dolce by Ferrero Rocher
December is my weakness. It's cold, but not too cold. There are fairylights everywhere. It's acceptable to stay in, with a big mug of tea and mountains of blankets. Everyone is in good spirits. People are ready to see off the year and begin afresh. I love it.

Unlimited Boozy Brunch at Big Easy, Covent Garden
Big Easy, the Bar-B-Q and Lobstershack, is larger than life. The site in Covent Garden is large, the music is large, and the portions are... you got it - large. They've recently launched an unlimited boozy brunch, where you can opt for Lobster or a hella meat, with with prosecco, wine or their signature "Big Easy brew".
