A twenty something Londoner on the hunt for the best places to eat, drink and pass my time.

Bottles, Spitalfields Market
In London, it's unlikely your interest will be peaked by the words 'wine bar'. Here, alcohol is a key part of the restaurant landscape. There are places for the snobs, and there are places for those who are just looking for the nearest (and longest) happy hour.

Sherry tasting with Tio Pepe
Mention sherry to anyone, and most likely they'll describe it as a 'Granny' drink. It's certainly not a 'hip' libation; it's not a G&T, or the increasingly popular Aperol Spritz... But truth be told, I've never tried sherry. So when I was invited to a tasting, I was curious.

A few from Madrid
Hola! It's been a while. And in that while, I've taken a bit of time out from London and headed to a different capital - Madrid. I spent a whirlwind 3 days there and I was sad to go. It felt like a second home by the time we left.

Champagne & canapés at The Devonshire Club
A few Fridays ago, I'd RSVP-ed to a cocktail party at The Devonshire Club. But when the day came, I was hungover, and so very tired. The last thing I wanted to do was trek from west to east (if you consider Liverpool Street east) to drink again.
