Glow To Go with facialist Abigail James
Recently I spent the evening in the company of 'the Queen of skin' Abigail James, a facialist who works on the likes of Rita Ora and Poppy Delevingne. She's collaborating with healthy food hangout Squirrel as part of their 'Best in Field' series, launching a 'Glow to Go' salad.

The Atlas Mountains
On day two, we escaped the hustle and bustle of the Medina and journeyed to the peace of the Atlas Mountains. My mum booked a day trip which included a guide, an experienced driver (for the mountain trails) and lunch with a Berber family, finishing with a hike.

Spectrum x Mean Girls
Mean Girls is a cult classic, and one my generation goes back to time and time again. Even now, about 13 years after it was released (it was the first 12-rated film I saw when I turned 12, pre 12A era), people - myself included - use particular lines in everyday conversation.

How to pretend you're on holiday (when you're stuck in Blighty)
This year, the most exotic place I've been (and will be), is Lake Windermere. It was a lovely week spent with my family. But it rained. Nearly every day. And it was cold. And it's meant that everyone's far-flung holiday snaps of Mykonos, Bali, Italy and the like have gotten me down...

Spectrum Collections presents... The Bomb Shell
Spectrum Collections is a prime example of a brand who has got it bang on. There are lots of make-up brush brands out there. Lots are pretty. Lots are good quality. But are any quite as covetable as these? I don't think so...

Beauty bits I'm loving right now
Confession: as soon as I'd shot these products, MORE products came to mind which should have also made the cut. Blame my scatterbrain, blame the fact I was still in the haze of illness... total faux pas on my part. I guess I'll just save them for another post.

The prime of your life
Don't ask me how, but somewhere along the way I've managed to accrue a load of primers. So many, in fact, that I almost have one for every day of the week.

Nailing summer shades
I'll be the first to admit I have a love-hate relationship with nail polish. Mainly because whenever I paint my nails myself, there's a 98% chance it will smudge. And also because once a nail chips, I pick at it and have to start afresh. But the shades? I've got them down.

Loving you is Red
If anyone got that Taylor Swift reference, you're awesome (#swiftiesunite). If you didn't, that's cool - just know that love is red and red is love, and that's why this post is in existence.

Getting Radical, and how my dreamboard is myself on A3
I went to a Radical skincare event the other week with the greatest intention to document it in detail... but life had other ideas. Instead, I arrived late (not realising there was a presentation at the start, and having come straight from work) and ended up trying to channel my inner ninja in an attempt to enter the room unnoticed.

Working at The Vogue Festival
In case you're somehow not aware (I say "somehow" because I've plastered it everywhere - from my LinkedIn, to Facebook, to Twitter...), I've been interning at a little title known as Vogue. My internship just so happened to coincide with The Vogue Festival, so I offered up my services and helped out for the weekend. Here's what went down...

Katie says something: Embrace the beauty evolution
Katie Service is Assistant Beauty Editor at The Sunday Times Style - the fashion, beauty and lifestyle supplement which just happens to be my favourite supplement *ever*. I used to devour it every week as a teen, and it's a love that hasn't faded over time (unlike my love for streaky highlights and a side fringe, thank goodness).

Getting legs "summer-ready" (eep)
I detest the idea of getting "summer-ready". After all, there's never any pressure to get spring, autumn or winter-ready.

Fragrances which scream "HELLO, SPRING"
As I write this, it's grey outside and a lil bit chilly. Nonetheless, word on the street is that SPRING HAS SPRUNG, and what better way to get in the mood than indulge in a spring-time fragrance (or three)?

Roller Lash by Benefit
Is "hook and roll" the new "bend and snap"? The answer to this is YES, if Benefit have anything to say about it.

My "Super 8" blog reads
Truth be told, I had planned to blog about what was happening in my life this month: the (seemingly eternal) job search, my hopes for 2015, etc.
